Chocolate Cranberry Cream Pies

Devil’s Food cookies are crammed full of cranberries and chocolate, then sandwiched with creamy Classic Vanilla frosting.

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix together cake mix, eggs, butter, salt, cranberries and 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
  3. Using an ice cream scoop or rounded tablespoon drop the batter onto 2 parchment lined cookie sheets.
  4. Bake 12-15 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is still a little soft.
  5. Let cool on sheets.
  6. Mix together the frosting and the ½ cup chocolate chips.
  7. Spread a rounded tablespoon of frosting on the bottom of 1 cookie and place another cookie on top.
  8. Refrigeration is not necessary but store in a cool place so the frosting does not melt.

Perfect Size

Perfect Size

These cakes have been a blessing. My husband just had a gastric bypass three months ago and now can eat a very very small amount of dessert. This is the perfect size for just the two of us. Hope you continue to make more flavors.

Why does the center of my chocolate cupcake sink while cooling? Someone told me to set the oven at 400 and then when I put the pans in turn to 350. They come out perfect but as they cool they sink.
