LOWFAT

I AM WATCHING MY FAT INTAKE SO I PURCHASE MY FAVORITE FLAVORS OF DH CAKE MIXES AND I SUBSTITUTE THE OIL FOR "PARKAY" OR "I CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER" LIQUID SPRAY (NONFAT), THE EGGS WITH LIQUID EGG SUBSTITUTE AND THE WATER WITH MILK OR FRUIT JUICE THAT MATCHES THE CAKE FLAVOR IE., PINEAPPLE OR STRAWBERRY. I THIN FROST WITH A LINE LAYER OF DH FROSTING OR MIX FAT FREE COOL WHIP W/ DRY INSTANT PUDDING AND CRUSHED PINEAPPLE OR STRAWBERRIES. SUCH A GUILT-FREE TREAT!!

Sneaky added protein to brownies

Sneaky added protein to brownies

To add protein in your kids (or husband's) diet, here's a little tip: Leave out the eggs, water and oil. Puree one can of black beans and liquid from the can in a food processor. The more course the bean puree the more the texture of the brownies is wrong. The canned beans work much better than home made soaked and cooked beans. Mix brownie mix and beans puree. prepare pan, cook and cook per box instructions.
