Tips

Non-Alcoholic Vanilla

Non-Alcoholic Vanilla

I recently started the Wilton cake decorating classes and decided to purchase the clear vanilla but when I opened it ant took a whiff it almost knocked me over! Here is a suggestion for those of you who want a non-alcoholic vanilla; try Cooks Vanilla.com they are the best supplier for natural non-alcoholic and powdered vanilla. Oh, and once you use powdered vanilla you will be hooked!

Too Much Water

Too Much Water

On the recipe for Lemon Crumb cake, I believe there is a mistake in amount ot water in recipe. I believe that it should be only 1/3. Batter was very thin and I think that is why crumbs sank. Still good, but not the desired crumb cake.
