French Vanilla Crinkle Cookies

Turn your favorite cake mix into layers of lusciousness with these cake mix crinkle cookies–we used French Vanilla.

  • Hands-on Time: 10 Minutes

  • Servings: Approximately 2 to 3 dozen cookies
  • Difficulty: EASY

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Grease cookie sheets or use parchment paper.

  • Combine cake mix, egg and yogurt in a large bowl.
  • Cover and refrigerate for one hour.
  • Using a cookie scoop, round out a scoop and drop into powdered sugar, rolling around to cover dough. Place on prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, just until golden brown and springy to the touch. Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheets

Tips & Inspirations

Pour 2-3 cups of sugar into a sealable container. Combine with the zest of one lemon, shake well and store. Lemon infused sugar can be used immediately or kept for months, just like regular sugar.

Keep brown sugar soft by adding a couple of marshmallows to the bag.

To make crystallized honey liquid again make it liquid again, place the honey jar in a container that allows water to move around it freely. Run under a hot water tap (shaking occasionally) until the crystals have melted.

For a uniform bake, always scoop and bake the same size cookie. This will ensure your cookies cooked to just the correct doneness every time.
