Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 4 to 6 slices of white or whole wheat bread
  • 1 3oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Cinnamon Roll Flavor Mix and
  • 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons cinnamon
  1. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Cinnamon Roll Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
  2. Mix about 3 tablespoons of the cinnamon roll frosting with the cream cheese. (save the rest of the frosting in the refrigerator for future cravings)
  3. Take your slices of bread and quickly flatten them with a rolling pin.
  4. Spread the frosting/cream cheese mixture onto the slices of bread.
  5. Tightly roll each slice of bread then cut into fourths.
  6. In a small bowl melt the butter and in another small bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar.
  7. Using a toothpick dip each bread roll into the butter then into the cinnamon sugar mix.
  8. Place them about an inch apart on a toaster oven tray lined with aluminum foil (or a cookie sheet)
  9. Toast them in the toaster oven on medium (or bake them in the oven at 350 for about 4 to 5 minutes)
  10. Let cool for 1 minute and enjoy! (careful, inside may still be hot)

I wonder if you could combine apple pie filling/canned apples with the cream cheese?
