Apple crumb/Betty

This is a dessert recipe.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 6-8 apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Cinnamin, sprinkle
  • 1 box Duncan Hines White Cake Mix
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Light brown sugar, sprinkle
  1. Peel and cut slice apples.
  2. Put apples in baking pan or pie dish.
  3. Coat with sugar and sprinkle cinnamin on top.
  4. Toss or stir with wooden spoon until apples are brown from the sugar and cinnamin
  5. Cut up a half of stick of butter into small slices and scatter between apples.
  6. Spread one box of Duncan Hines White Cake Mix evenly on top of apples.
  7. Sprinkle light brown sugar on top of cake mix very lightly.
  8. Slice the rest of butter and scatter on top of the cake mix and sugar.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until apples are tender. Serve with ice cream.
  10. Grease baking pan or dish before starting.
