This is a smooth cheesecake with chocolate chips topped with a chocolate layer.
- 2 (3 oz.) packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1 chocolate crumb crust (Oreo)
For glaze:
- 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- With mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Toss 1 cup of the chips with the flour. Stir into cheese mixture.
- Pour into crust.
- Bake 35 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched.
- Cool and top with glaze.
- Serve chilled; refrigerate leftovers.
- For glaze: Melt 1/2 cup chips with whipping cream. Cook and stir until thick and smooth. Spread over pie.
