Cranberries provide a distinctively tart taste to the Duncan Hines Cinnamon Swirl Muffin Mix, while creating a color as rich as this dessert is decadent. Serve your Cranberry Cobbler warm from the oven.
- 2 (16 oz) cans sliced peaches in light syrup
- 1 (16 oz) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Bakery Style Cinnamon Swirl Muffin Mix
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- whipped topping or ice cream
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Cut peach slices in half lengthwise. Combine peach slices and cranberry sauce in ungreased 9 x 9-inch pan. Knead swirl packet from mix for 10 seconds. Squeeze contents evenly over fruit.
- Combine muffin mix, contents of topping packet from mix and pecans in large bowl. Add melted butter. Stir until thoroughly blended (mixture will be crumbly). Sprinkle crumbs over fruit.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping.
