Orange Supreme Trifle

Recipe Description
Orange Supreme Trifle is layered cake, pudding, mandarin oranges, cool whip and sprinkled chocolate.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 Duncan Hines Orange Supreme cake mix
  • 1 Lg box instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 1 Lg Cool Whip
  • 2 Lg cans of Mandarin Oranges
  • Shaved Chocolate (optional)
  1. Drain Cans of Oranges save juice
  2. Bake cake as directed except substitute the liquid from the cans of Oranges instead of water (use oblong pan)
  3. Mix pudding as instructed on box place in fridge until ready to use
  4. After cake has cooled completely cut in half
  5. Use a deep bowl
  6. Add a layer of the cake then add 1/2 of the pudding spread around evenly
  7. Then arrange half the Oranges around the pudding ( save at least 8 slices for top)
  8. Drop Cool Whip around top of Oranges and spread evenly
  9. Sprinkle Shaved Chocolate
  10. Repeat layering steps, top off with Oranges slices for garnish and sprinkle top with Chocolate shavings
