Chocolate Moo-Shmallow Cow Pops!

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 box of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Chocolate Marshmallow Flavor Mix
  • 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
  • 1 package of white almond bark
  • 1 Package of pink candy melts
  • 1 package of black candy melts
  • 1 small bag of regular marshmallows
  • candy eyes
  • cake pop sticks
  • *foam block for drying
  1. Prepare chocolate fudge cake mix according to box directions
  2. Bake and allow to cool
  3. Crumble cake into a large mixing bowl
  4. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Chocolate Marshmallow Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended
  5. Add small amounts of chocolate marshmallow frosting to crumbled cake until a sticky consistency is formed (for a whole cake you will end up using around half a can)
  6. Using a scoop or spoon take some of the mixture out and roll into an oval for the cow's face, once all the cows are formed place them in the freezer for 5 minutes
  7. Melt white almond bark in the microwave according to package instructions
  8. Dip the tip of a cake pop stick into the melted bark and then insert it into the bottom of the pop, allow to dry
  9. Submerge your entire pop into the white bark, tap off excess
  10. Place on a foam block to dry
  11. Melt pink & black candy in separate bowls
  12. Dip the the nose area of your cow into the pink melts, tap off excess (place on foam block to dry)
  13. Use an extra cake pop stick to "paint" on black cow spots and nose, allow to dry
  14. Cut marshmallows in half diagnolly, apply melted bark to the bottom of each marshmallow and place them where you want the ears to be
  15. Use another cake pop stick to apply melted bark to the back of candy eyes and then place them on your cows face
