Chocolate Marshmallow Mug Cakes

We know you'll warm up to this recipe fast: A mug filled with rich chocolate cake topped with chocolate marshmallow frosting.

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour oven-safe mugs.
  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package.
  3. Fill mugs ⅔ full with batter. Set mugs on a sheet pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
  4. Let mugs cool completely.
  5. Pour packet of chocolate marshmallow flavor mix into can of frosting starter. Stir until evenly blended.
  6. Transfer the chocolate marshmallow frosting you just created to a piping bag with an open star decorator tip.
  7. Pipe the frosting in a swirling motion. Garnish with mini-marshamallows and serve with a spoon.
  8. Tip:
  9. If you’d like a molten center, use Triple Chocolate Decadent Cake Mix. Layer the Decadent pouch filling in between a bottom and a top layer of cake batter and bake.

I add a 1/4 cup of well drained pineapple and 1/4 cup of pineapple not drained. I reduced the water buy 1/4 cup in carrot and raisin mixture. I also add 1/4 cup of chopped pecans. I live in a high altitude area so I add the 1/2 cup of flour. If some one in a lower altitude may need to adjust the moisture in the pineapple. whole family enjoyed this for Easter dinner.
