Chocolate Marshmallow Mug Cakes

We know you'll warm up to this recipe fast: A mug filled with rich chocolate cake topped with chocolate marshmallow frosting.

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour oven-safe mugs.
  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package.
  3. Fill mugs ⅔ full with batter. Set mugs on a sheet pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
  4. Let mugs cool completely.
  5. Pour packet of chocolate marshmallow flavor mix into can of frosting starter. Stir until evenly blended.
  6. Transfer the chocolate marshmallow frosting you just created to a piping bag with an open star decorator tip.
  7. Pipe the frosting in a swirling motion. Garnish with mini-marshamallows and serve with a spoon.
  8. Tip:
  9. If you’d like a molten center, use Triple Chocolate Decadent Cake Mix. Layer the Decadent pouch filling in between a bottom and a top layer of cake batter and bake.

instant pudding

instant pudding

for an extra moist cake use a 4oz. box of instant pudding. and a 1/2 cup of extra water and beat until the batter is thick. bake until toothpick comes out clean with a few moist crumbs on it. a lot of times i use the store brand.

Don't throw away lemon, orange, or limes after your finished using the insides, remove the pith and cut up the rind and candy it or dry it for using in potpourri.
