Keep cakes moist

Keep cakes moist

Whenever a recipe for brownies, cakes, or cookies calls for oil, I substitute the exact amount of un-sweetened applesauce for the oil instead. My recipes are always much moister than when I have used oil. I get compliments from family and friends always asking what I do differently than they do if they just follow the recipe. :)

OodleTip vs Plain Pastry Bag

OodleTip vs Plain Pastry Bag

I recently came across DH new red velvet cupcakes. I applaud DH for including a pastry bag to help us fill and decorate our creations. The only problem is that without a tip the piping bag by itself doesn't really do the job, and I was wondering how long it would take DH or BC to discover the OodleTip (disposable pastry bag with attached decorating tip), France, UK and Spain already have them. I wonder who will be first to include an OodleTip with every box of cake or frosting.
