This is a recipe I made up 20 years ago, and I love it. The muffins have a great crisp top and a great light apple taste to them.
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon bakng soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup applesauce
- 3 eggs, beaten
- Mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Add salt, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Add brown sugar, applesauce, and eggs.
- Mix until all ingredients are well-combined.
- Place in nonstick muffin pan for 15 to 17 minutes in a 400-degree oven.

These were great. My family has enjoyed them for breakfast. They were easy to make I added chopped pecans 1/2 cup and they came out real good. I would recommend these for a quick treat.
