Baking Instructions

  1. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Chocolate Marshmallow Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly distributed.
  2. Preheat oven 350° F.
  3. Place cupcake liners in cupcake pan.
  4. Mix 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs, melted butter sugar and salt in small bowl.
  5. Place 2 tsp. of the graham cracker mixture in bottom of cupcake liner.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes until the graham cracker layer is golden.
  7. While you let the layer cool, prepare the cake batter as directed on package.
  8. Once mixed, get an ice cream scoop size into each cupcake liner on top of the graham cracker layer.
  9. Bake cupcakes for about 18-22 minutes depending on the heat of your oven.
  10. After baking test cupcakes by taking a toothpick and putting into a few cupcakes to make sure the toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cupcakes cool for about 5-10 minutes.
  12. Once cooled, cut a cone-shape piece out of each cupcake, not cutting to the graham cracker layer.
  13. Put marshmallow fluff into a piping bag and squeeze fluff into middle part of cupcake.
  14. Frost cupcakes with the Duncan Hines Frosting Creations Chocolate Marshmallow flavor mix.
  15. Garnish each cupcake with a mini marshmallow and a piece of graham cracker.

Tips

Secret to non-sticking frosting!

Secret to non-sticking frosting!

Do you hate when you frost and the top of your cake rips? Well here is your tip. Dip your spatula ( i am not a very good speller) or knife and let it sit in warm water for at least 5-10 minutes. That way your cake or what ever your cooking cools. Keep re-dipping your utensil before you spread. That way your cake won't tear or rip. Enjoy baking! CookinGal

For a Moist Cake

For a Moist Cake

The main reason cakes become dry is they are over-baked. As a rule, check the cake at the shorter end of the baking time range. If your cake doesn't test done with a toothpick, return it to the oven for the full baking time.
