Carmel Butter Pecan Cupcakes

This cupcake is moist and delicious with little surprises inside that throws a party in your mouth!

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • Box of Butter Pecan cake mix.
  • 1 teaspoon Imitation rum flavoring
  • Handful of dried apricots, finely diced
  • 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Caramel Flavor Mix
  • 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
  • Edible glitter.
  1. 1. Prepare cake mix as per instructions on the box.
  2. 2. Add rum flavoring and diced apricots while mixing.
  3. 3. Pour cake mix into paper lined cupcake tins and bake per package directions for cupcakes.
  4. 4. Allow cupcakes to cool before frosting.
  5. 5. Divide the frosting tub. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Caramel Flavor Mix into half the tub of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
  6. 6. Add a dollop of each color frosting to the top of a cupcake and swirl. Top with edible glitter. Repeat for each cupcake.
