The easiest yet tastiest cupcake you'll ever try! This simple to make cupcake tastes just like your favorite breakfast treat, french toast.
Cupcake batter:
- 1 package of Duncan Hines Classic Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 eggs
Icing:
- 1 container Duncan Hines Cream Cheese Icing
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dark corn syrup
Decoration:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 per cupcake mini cinnamon cereal pieces
- Set oven to 350 degrees and place cupcake holders in pan
- Mix all cupcake batter ingredients in large mixing bowl until thoroughly mixed
- Fill cupcake holders 3/4 full with batter
- Place in oven for 18 minutes
- Cool in pan for 2 minutes then place on cooling rack for 15 minutes
- Mix the dark corn syrup into the container of cream cheese icing and ice cupcakes once cool
- Sprinkle brown sugar lightly on each cupcake and place 2 pieces of mini cinnamon cereal on top
