I used 1 bx. of Duncan Hines Cake Mix( YELLOW) or Whatever Flavor u prefer, Then I Used Ducan Hines creations Frosting/Packets. I Mixed batter an placed batter in flat botton Icecream Cones. I Baked at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 mins. Let Cool For 10 to 15 Mins,Then I Icing the Cuppycones With Duncan Hines Creations frosting an topped them With Sprinkles an a Cherry....

  • 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Cinnamon Roll Flavor Mix and 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter

Baking Instructions

  1. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Mint Chocolate Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.

I used this filling but it was extremely runny after it cooled. What am I not doing correctly?

Cut a circle of wax paper for INSIDE bottom of your cakepan. Wrap the OUTSIDE of your pan with a strip of towelling that has been made wet and squeezed out. Secure with metal paper clips, holding towelling together like a sandwich. DO NOT GREASE PAN. Pour cake mix into pan on top of wax paper circle. Bake as directed on box. Cake will come away from pan when finished baking. Do not have light on in oven when baking. It adds more heat on the side of the light. Old wedding cake baker.
