- 4 Cups Confectioners Sugar plus 1 teaspoon
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Crisco Shortening
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- Food color: orange/black/green (or color of your choice)

- Follow the directions on the back of the Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake Mix box for the cupcakes.
- While the cupcakes are baking make the frosting.
- In large bowl combine the butter and shortening. Mix on low speed until well blended. Add the 2 Tablespoons of milk. Gradually add the confectioners sugar and mix on low speed until smooth.

- Place a small amount of the remaining frosting in 2 of the small bowls.
- Place the rest of the frosting in the 3rd bowl.
- Add green color to 1 bowl and mix.
- Add orange color in the 2nd bowl then slowly add confectioners sugar mix until it is stiff. (NOTE: the orange has to be stiff for the nose to stand out).
- In 3rd bowl (bowl with the most frosting) add black color and mix.
- Set 1 marshmallow on each cupcake.
Decorate each cupcake:
- the black for the eyes, buttons and stick arms
- the green for the bow
- the orange for the nose
