Enjoy a tasty Apple Cinnamon Rice Crisp, made with Duncan Hines Comstock® or Wilderness® More Fruit Apple Filling.
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (21 ounces) Comstock® or Wilderness® More Fruit Apple Filling
- 1 cup brown sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups oats (old fashioned or quick cooking)
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- Prepare rice according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine rice, pie filling, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts in a medium bowl. Pour into prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine remaining brown sugar and rolled oats. Blend in butter; mix well. Sprinkle over rice mixture. Bake 30 minutes.
