Yellow cake mix cookies

Easy yellow cake mix cookies

  • Servings: 2.5 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 box Yellow cake mix
  • 1 8 oz Package of cream cheese
  • 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbs Vanilla
  • Pre heat oven to 375
  • Spray cookie sheet with non stick spray
  • Beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth and fluffy.
  • add egg into mixture
  • add vanilla into mixture and mix well
  • add the yellow cake mix slowly into wet ingredients mix well
  • drop table spoon size drops on the cookies sheet and bake for 10 to 12 min
  • let cool and enjoy.

Cooked Pudding for Instant Pudding

Cooked Pudding for Instant Pudding

You cannot substitute cooked pudding for instant pudding. Cooked pudding will result in a drier, coarser, grittier texture because it has not been activated or pre-gelatinized as instant puddings have.


Extra Pie Crust

Extra Pie Crust

If you have any extra pie crust left over, roll it out and spread some cinnamon and sugar over the top. Roll up and cut into 1/2-1 inch slices and bake them while you are baking your pie. Check them regularly so they don't get too brown. Once they are a light golden brown remove from oven and cool. Nice change on a snack idea.
