A cookie crust with a fruity filling. Great for snacks or dessert.
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Wild Cherry Vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 21-oz. can cherry pie filling
- 1 can Duncan Hines Creamy Homestyle Cream Cheese frosting
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together the first 5 ingredients. Reserve 1 cup of dough.
- Spread dough on bottom of jelly roll pan.
- Spread pie filling on top of dough.
- Drop remaining dough by spoonfuls on top of pie filling.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Microwave frosting on medium for about 20 seconds. Drizzle on top of hot cookie bars.
- Let cool and cut.
- Get creative with cake mix flavors, pie fillings, and frosting flavors to make your own creations!
