Fruit Swirl Cookie Bars

A cookie crust with a fruity filling. Great for snacks or dessert.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Wild Cherry Vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 21-oz. can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can Duncan Hines Creamy Homestyle Cream Cheese frosting
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir together the first 5 ingredients. Reserve 1 cup of dough.
  3. Spread dough on bottom of jelly roll pan.
  4. Spread pie filling on top of dough.
  5. Drop remaining dough by spoonfuls on top of pie filling.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Microwave frosting on medium for about 20 seconds. Drizzle on top of hot cookie bars.
  8. Let cool and cut.
  9. Get creative with cake mix flavors, pie fillings, and frosting flavors to make your own creations!
