Double Caramel Toffee Brownies

Servings: 24
Rating: No Discussions
Recipe Description
The Duncan Hines Caramel Flavor Frosting Creations makes these already delicious brownies absolutely spectacular! The caramel frosting creates the perfect frame for the toffee, then it is swirled into the brownie batter before baking and more is drizzled on top when the brownies are done. Definitely a top-shelf dessert!

Filling:

  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate toffee bits

Brownies:

  • 1 (19 oz.) box Duncan Hines Premium Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

Garnish:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 13x9x2-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. Remove 1/3 of frosting to a heavy resealable quart size plastic bag. Seal and set aside.

  5. In a separate large bowl, beat brownie mix, eggs, coffee (instead of water), and oil together as directed on box.

  7. Use a knife to swirl frosting mixture and brownie batter.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes just until center is set.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Cut into 24 squares and arrange on platter.
