Easy to make
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1 cup (6 ounces ) butterscotch-flavored chips
- 1 cup (6 ounces ) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- Preheat oven to 350 (325 for glass dish). In 13x9-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over butter; pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork.
- Bake 25 minutes or unyil lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars . Srore covered at room temperature.
- Substitute peanut-butter-flavored chips or white-chocolate chips for the butterscotch chips.

I tasted this at my sister-in-law's house and joined this site, just to find this mouthwatering, great tasting recipe. Seven-layer magic cookie bars are the BOMB!!

A holiday favorite in our house!! I use low-fat sweetened condensed milk and it tastes great, with less fat!!
