How about creating a little chocolate magic using Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Fudge Cake Mix? Our no-fail Double Chocolate Chewies recipe will do the trick.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, eggs and melted butter in large bowl. Stir until thoroughly blended. (Mixture will be stiff.) Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Press mixture evenly in greased pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not overbake. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Dust with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
  4. Makes 36 bars.

I've used different mix and chip flavor combinations and they have all turned out yummy! My boyfriend's favorite is yellow cake mix, chocolate chips and walnuts. He ate half a pan himself, LOL

my son is allergic to tree nuts but NOT peanuts, so i used peanut butter chips instead of the nuts. sprinkled a little of both kinds of chips on top before baking. YUMMY!

they were very good. the kids and husband really loved them. but i used peanut butter coated candies instead of the nuts.
