The healthy wholesome taste of oatmeal, but with a brownie cookie twist that packs a chocolate punch.

- 1 cup quick oats, plus more for garnish

- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1 cup chocolate chips

- In a large bowl combine brownie mix, oats, oil, eggs and water; stir with a fork until combined. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 12 minutes or until just barely set in the center. Cool 1 minute on pans. Transfer to wire racks with a metal spatula and cool completely. Garnish with sprinkle of quick oats if desired.

I made these and brought them to work. Co-workers did nothing but rave about them. One person said they were slamming. I have been asked to make more. Thank you Duncan Hines for the easy receipe that made people happy.

I'm not even done baking them -- rating just on the dough being yummy! My son is egg-allergic, so I swapped the eggs out for Ener*G egg replacer powder and water, but otherwise kept it the same.

I made these with my 5 yr old son before a Sunday School party...they were very easy and delicious as well! A HIT! We are planning to make a few different recipes for our family vacation coming up. :D
