Recipe Description
Almost like ice cream sandwiches, but without the ice cream headache! Chocolate and vanilla are always an incredible combination, especially when it's Duncan Hines Dark Fudge Brownies and Chocolate Chunks.

I grabbed this recipe just for the cookie part. It is our new favorite. I plan to use it next for a birthday present for work, adding white chocolate chips. I hope that works out, but my co-worker doesn't mind being the guinea pig!!

They are amazing. Even better if you put them in the fridge when you are done. If you are from the northeast, they taste like Devil Dogs from Drakes Cakes.

I made these today, the recipe was different on the brownie box that I followed. I baked for about 13 min. I think they could have been baked less. I will try this recipe next time. But they were still yummy!

The recipe on the brownie mix is slightly different than the one listed here. I used the recipe on the box and the cookie sandwiches were delish!

Denise - I'm sure no expert but I would make two boxes of brownies (for cookies or the expected brownies) separately .... one at a time. You can use the same bowl and other tools but still mix and stir one at a time.

I'm going to use heart cookie cutters to cut out the cookies once baked and serve these for Valentine's Day!

My dough is a huge lump in the mixing bowl

These cookies were very easy and delicious. I made a homemade buttercream icing and added crushed peppermint candy for a Christmas flavor. I would also add some peppermint extract if I had some on hand. They were a hit with my family. I will make them again.

These are great. The cookies are good alone without the filling. I like to use up my leftover homemade buttercream icing as a filling for these but the canned icing works just as well and is very easy.
