These were easy and delicious. Leave space between the two logs because they do spread. Extra flour is a must.

I agree with Alek. I'm baking this recipe at this moment. 18 minutes in and these "loaves" have spread to the whole width of the cookie sheet. Bad directions and a waste of the money that I spent for this mix. I had planned to take these to a picnic tomorrow. Back to the drawing board.

I made these yesterday. I split it into 2 logs and they did flatten and spread while baking, but that's normal. They did not spread as much as you've described--did you put the extra flour in? The dough should be fairly stiff.

I followed the instructions. The dough spread as it cooked and I had a long flat cookie? I live in MT. am wondering if I need to add more flour?

I've made biscotti before, and was slightly disappointed by the texture. Do these turn out cruncy?

Add craisins and walnuts. Very pretty and just the right amount of texture.

Wow!! Made this twice in one week. So good! I agree with Jeanuine, hard to stop at one or two. Love the decadent cake mix collection. I didn't glaze mine, I didn't think it was needed. Planning to make one more batch to give to friends/neighbors.

Fabulous!!! Made these about a hour ago...my husband went nuts over them. He wants me to bake more to take to his office. They are super easy and taste great. I'm going to give the chocolate ones a try next time.

I made the Apple Carmel Biscotti and took it to work. They loved it. Some really didn't know what it was. It is so simple to make. I am going to make it for our Thanksgiving Breakfast, I want to try it with Chocolate too
