Crescent Cheesecake Squares

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 large packages cream cheese (room temperature)
  1. Layer crescent rolls (1 can) across the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.
  2. Mix cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk into bowl (by hand).
  3. Spread over rolls.
  4. Place other can of crescent rolls across top of cheese mixture.
  5. Beat egg whites til fluffy and spread over top layer of crescent rolls.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350-degree oven, or until rolls are done.
  7. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar; slice and serve.

I did not use an egg. I added fresh sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Very easy. Our family loves to eat this with strawberry or raspberry preserves on the side.
