Easy pan dessert
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 large packages cream cheese (room temperature)
- Layer crescent rolls (1 can) across the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan.
- Mix cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk into bowl (by hand).
- Spread over rolls.
- Place other can of crescent rolls across top of cheese mixture.
- Beat egg whites til fluffy and spread over top layer of crescent rolls.
- Bake for 30 minutes in a 350-degree oven, or until rolls are done.
- When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar; slice and serve.

I did not use an egg. I added fresh sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Very easy. Our family loves to eat this with strawberry or raspberry preserves on the side.
