This is a wonderful cake for all occasions.

  • Hands-On Time:1 Hour
  • Total Time: 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • One 1 oz. can mandarin oranges
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 3.4 oz. package vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 15 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 12 oz. size Cool Whip

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix cake mix, oranges, eggs, and oil.
  3. Divide cake mix into 2 - 9.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees F.
  5. Cool cake before icing.
  6. Combine pudding mix, pineapple with juice, and Cool Whip.
  7. Spread on cake liberally.
  8. Store cake in refrigerator.

It's easier than you may think to prevent air pockets after filling your angel food cake pan with batter. Simply use your spatula to press batter into sides and bottom of pan. Or, you can cut through batter with a knife to remove air bubbles.
