This is a wonderful cake for all occasions.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • One 1 oz. can mandarin oranges
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 3.4 oz. package vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 15 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 12 oz. size Cool Whip
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix cake mix, oranges, eggs, and oil.
  3. Divide cake mix into 2 - 9.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees F.
  5. Cool cake before icing.
  6. Combine pudding mix, pineapple with juice, and Cool Whip.
  7. Spread on cake liberally.
  8. Store cake in refrigerator.

I make this cake all the time, but I make it in three layers. I also use the butter recipe cake mix. I always get rave reviews on this cake.

This recipe is a winner. I use French vanilla instant pudding and the butter mix when I make it.
