Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • Small instant vanilla pudding, 3 oz.
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 bar of German Chocolate, grated
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  1. Mix the cake mix, pudding, eggs, oil and water together for five minutes on medium. Pour mix into either a bundt pan or cake pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees in a bundt pan. This cake can be made in a 9 x 13 pan and bake a little less time.
  2. When cake is finished sprinkle with remaining 1/2 bar of grated German chocolate, then sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. It can also be made with a decorator’s icing instead of the grated chocolate and powdered sugar.

It makes a great birthday cake. I frost it with a chocolate icing.
