Recipe Description
This is a German version of the Spanish Favorite Tres Leches Cake. My friend Jose approved this recipe. This cake is very moist and wet a different texture but very delicious.

Ingredients Baking Instructions

Cake:

  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines Decadent German Chocolate Cake Mix

Milk Mixture:

  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 1 cup Chocolate Syrup

Topping:

  • Ready Made Whipped Topping
  1. Baking Instructions:

  2. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  3. Grease and Flour 13 x 9 in. pan.
  4. Combine cake mix as directed on the box.
  5. Beat by hand about 50 strokes.
  6. Pour into pan.
  7. Bake about 30 - 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan or cake on wire rack.
  9. Cut cake into 2 inch squares and place in deep dish. Pour well mixed milk mixture over the pieces so they can absorb the milk. This cake is wet. Top each piece just before serving with Whip topping and fresh fruit or maraschino cherry.
