- 1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Grease and flour a 13'x9' baking dish.
- In a large bowl, blend cake mix (reserving 2 tablespoons ), sour cream, eggs, and water at a low speed until well blended.
- Beat 1 to 2 minutes on high speed.
- In another bowl, combine reserved dry cake mix, pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Pour half the batter into the prpared baking dish and sprinkle some of the pecan mixture over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter over the pecan mixture.
- Cover the batter with the rest of the pecan mixture.
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes at 325 degrees F.
- Let cool some before serving.
- You can serve this warm.

This sounds like the "Sock it to Me Cake" It is baked in a bundt pan and frosted with a powdered sugar glaze. It is yummy!! I have always thought it would make a good coffee cake! I would definelty put the glaze on this. (1 cup powdered sugar and 1 T milk)
