This cake is very pretty when sliced.
- 1 white or yellow Duncan Hines cake mix
- Any color or flavor of Gelatin
- 1 tub of whipped topping
- 1large package of instant pudding (usually vanilla)
- Bake cake mix. Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
- Poke holes in cake with large fork.
- While cake cools, prepare gelatin according to directions.
- Pour gelatin over cake evenly, then refrigerate.
- Prepare the pudding according to directions and spread on top of cake.
- Finish by spreading small container of cool whip on top.
- Addtional toppings can decorate the top of cake if desired. Coconut, colored mini marshmallows, Nuts, sprinkles, etc.

Hasn't this recipe been around for quite a while I have it from Jello Co. for many years.

Yes, it was called Stripe it rich cake. I only use the pudding instead of gelatin, topped in cool whip. Love it and haven't had it in years, husband don't like to try new recipes :( Me, I'd eat the whole cake myself, that's why I don't make it :) LOL
