Orange Creamsicle Cake

A delicious mixture of oranges and cream!

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • Duncan Hines Orange Supreme Cake Mix
  • Any brand of orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream
  • Duncan Hines Classic Vanilla Frosting
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans.
  3. Prepare cake mix according to directions in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes.
  5. Let cake cool completely!
  6. Spread a nice layer of ice cream on one cake layer. Make sure ice cream has softened.
  7. Place the other layer on top. Spread with frosting.
  8. Place in freezer immediately.

Wow. I didn't know they made an orange cake mix, but sounds good. I can't wait to try it.

This sounds great for a hot day! It's probably best to make it at night, when it is cooler, for the next day.
