Pistachio Marble Cake

This makes one very tasty cake.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  1. Combine and blend. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
  2. Pour 1/3 batter in seperate bowl. Stir in 1/4 cup chocolate syrup.
  3. Spoon batter alternately in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
  4. Zigzag knife through to marbleize.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes, or till center springs back when lightly touched.
  6. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.

I actually made the same cake. I used a little vanilla extract instead of almond.
