This is a delicious and moist cake. It also stays fresh for days.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 3 sticks margarine or butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. lemon extract
  • 3/4 cup 7-Up soda
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar for 2 minutes, until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add lemon extract.
  5. Add flour one cup at a time and then add the 7-Up.
  6. Beat until creamy for 1 minute.
  7. Pour into pan and bake.
  8. For a glaze, take 2 cups confectioners sugar and add lemon juice or milk to thin to spreadable consistency.

my biggest problem with my 7-up cakes is that they are to heavy. Some people say that i should cream it for 20 minutes. can I get some help with this?
