Deep chocolate cake with cream-cheese cloud frosting.
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Vanilla Frosting
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 12 oz. Cool Whip
- Bake cake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes in a sheet pan or two 8-inch or 9-inch pans.
- Mix frosting, cream cheese, and Cool Whip until thick and smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
- Drizzle melted chocolate or chocolate syrup over frosted cake.
- 1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix (your favorite) in large bowl.
- 3 eggs.
- 1 stick melted in microwave butter or margarine.
- 1/2 cup water.
- Mix until batter is thick and smooth.
- Bake in sheet pan cupcakes or pan of choice.
- I use sheet pan at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, depending on oven.
- Cool cake completely.
- Frosting 1 can Duncan Hines Vanilla or you may use butter cream or cream cheese.
- 1 (8oz.) softened cream cheese.
- 1 (12oz.) Cool-Whip slightly softened.
- Combine above in large bowl until thick and creamy.
- Spread over cooled cake.
- May drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Enjoy!
- Use slightly less water and replace margarine for oil. The cake will be moister.
