Butter Pecan Pound Cake

Moist delicious and no frosting needed everything in one bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 container Coconut pecan frosting
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans -optional

Baking Instructions

  1. grease and flour a bundt pan or a 9 by13 pan can be used
  2. mix oil and eggs add butter pecan cake mix water and coconut frosting
  3. pour into prepared pan sprinkle chopped pecans on top
  4. bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  5. note: 50 minutes worked for me with bundt pan

Devil's Food Cake Surprise!

Change the following ingredients, instead of the ones written on the box of the Devil's Food Cake box. It will just make it a more elaborate and moister cake, for a change!! 1c sour cream 1 pkg instant chocolate pudding and pie filling 1/2 c oil 1/2 c water 4 eggs 12 oz. chocolate chips Mix all together including cake mix and bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick put in center comes out clean.

I substitute Splenda in my recipes to save calories and help my diabetic friends. Will post some panna cotta and superior fruit pie recipes soon. Remember that you can use sugar free pudding and jello without any changes to recipes for baking -
