I have made this cake several times and it was great. Sometimes instead of using the Devil Food cake mix, I used brownie mix for the crust. I also have put carmel on the brownies, after done, and adding the cheesecake mixture. Calling it a Brownie Turtle Chessecake. It was fabulous.

The cheesecake part was excellent but the crust left a lot to be desired. Would make a different crust next time.

I had a really hard time baking this. It was in the oven for 75 minutes and was still not set. Finally turned it up to 350 for another 15 minutes. Still not completely set when served, but did taste good.

This is the best cheesecake ever! You can add whatever you like to this cheesecake. I sometimes put more chocolate in it or add milk choc. chips. You can use big or small choc. chips. I've put mini reese cups in this or even made it a plain cheesecake. I sometimes half the crust recipe and make two cheesecakes with it. I love to garnish with chocolate syrup on the top. It's also great with some coolwhip. This is a family favorite!

I've made this cake several time... I made it in cupcake form last night and it worked well. I doubled the crust recipe and then baked the cupcakes at 350 for 20 minutes or so. It made 3 dozen cupcakes. NOTE: you must grease the cupcake tins very well.

Is that 350 for 20 or so minutes for just the crust in the cupcake tins...or for the entire cheesecake baking process? I'd LOVE to make this recipe as cupcakes if you don't mind sharing your cupcake process. Thanks!

This cheesecake is so easy to make....the crust is a nice change from just using graham crackers. I actually used regular sized chocolate chips (added more than what was asked for....chocoholic!) and it turned out great! Will definitely make it again!
