Raspberry Liqueur Red Velvet Cake

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. This recipe is for a Bundt cake

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 Box Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Raspberry Liqueur
  • 1/2 Cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
  • 12 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 Stick of Butter, 1/4 cup, softened
  • 1 Lb Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Pure Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Pint Fresh Red Raspberries
  1. Grease bundt pan well.
  2. Blend cake mix, water, oil, eggs, salad dressing & Raspberry Liqueur, follow mixing instructions on box.
  3. Pour batter into bundt pan.
  4. Bake until cake tester when inserted comes out clean takes about 45 minutes
  5. Cool Before frosting.
  6. Frosting Recipe..
  7. Cream cheese & Butter together then add Vanilla
  8. Add powdered sugar, milk and mix, enough to make a thick glaze.
  9. Drizzle frosting over cake.
  10. Garnish with fresh raspberries
  11. Frosting make take more or less powdered sugar or milk depending on your preferance to consistancy. Would be good with a raspberry glaze made with raspberry liqueur and fresh berries over the frosting.
