Blueberry Coconut Cream Cake

Enjoy the taste of fresh blueberries and coconut added to Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix, along with a cheese cream frosting, whipped cream, fresh blueberries & toasted shredded coconut.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1-1/3 cups water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 pint 35% whipping cream
  • 1 container of Duncan Hines Cream Cheese Frosting
  1. Prepare mix following instructions on back of Duncan Hines Cake Mix box
  2. Combine 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  3. Combine 1 cup fresh blueberries, blend in well
  4. Pour batter into two 8 inch pans and bake according to instructions on back of Duncan Hines Cake Mix box
  5. After cooling, frost with Duncan Hines Cream Cheese and Whipping Cream
  6. Sprinkle with toasted shredded coconut and fresh blueberries
  7. Refrigerate and serve when ready

After spreading cream cheese frosting onto cake, apply 1 pint of whipped cream.

So do you whip the 1 pint of cream and mix with the cream cheese frosting? No instruction on that part of the recipe
