Recipe Description
A classic chocolate cake with a sweet surprise.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 1 box devil's food cake mix or dark chocolate cake mix
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1(or 2) can cherry pie filling
  • icing or glaze (optional)
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Spray 9 x 13in pan with non stick spray
  3. mix together cake mix, oil, water, and eggs
  4. pour into pan
  5. drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling onto batter
  6. bake for 45-55 minutes
  7. let cool
  8. put icing or glaze over top(optional)

  9. cut into slices and enjoy :)
