Ingredients Baking Instructions
  1. Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions.
  2. Mix marshmallows and walnuts with Duncan Hines Milk Chocolate Frosting and spread generously on cooled brownies.
  3. Top with additional walnuts, if desired

For a Mississipi mud pie taste add mini marshmellows to top of brownies about 3 minutes before it is done baking. While this is baking in a medium size bowl add tub of frosting then microwave15-30 seconds (ovens may vary)...just till frosting is softened and warm, but not completely melted, add pecans then pour over brownies and marshmellows immediately after you remove from oven. Let cool.
The frosting taste like you cooked it from scratch.

I just made these and FLIPPED OUT AT HOW A+AMAZING THESE WERE!!! Thank you, Duncan Hines, for this class A recipe, and thank you, sassyhen, for your delightful variation. Also, if you're a chocolate lover, Instead of using Chewy Fudge Premium Brownie Mix, try using double fudge. I think I OD'd on the mashmallows a bit, but nonetheless, some of the best brownies I've made by far! Thank you! ^_^
