I am sure there are many versions of this out there, but my friend turned me on to them.
- 2 cups worth of cut up strawberries, 1/4 inch in size.
- 1/3 cup Disaronno (italian liqueur, or use grand marnier)
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- DH brown mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- about a WEEK before you make these, soak the strawberries with the Disaronno and sugar. Taste as you are adding the liqueur and sugar, and adjust accordingly, you want sweet but not overly..... Store in the frig covered. When ready to make the brownies, drain the strawberries
- Make your brownie as usual using the cake like version instead of fudge like version on the back of the box.
- Fold in the strawberries and pour into your pan. 9x13 size
- Bake as usual.
- It def. takes about 28 minutes at 350 degrees.

That sounds SO Yum! I bet if you ate them warm with some redi whip and chocolate syrup it would be sinful!
