Tips

Onion free hands

Onion free hands

After you use/cut an onion wash your hands under running water while rubbing them with a stainless steel spoon and the smell will be gone. I do this and it works well.

Prevent Doughy Cookies

Prevent Doughy Cookies

You should try chilling your dough until it's firm and cool to the touch, then work with it in small batches. Try baking a test cookie before the entire batch to ensure the consistency you're looking for.
