Recipe Description
What is the best way to store muffins, in particular the blueberry with streusel topping, to prevent the topping from getting soft? I've put them in air tight containers and ziploc bags but the next day, the topping is always soft. Any suggestions from fellow bakers is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can Duncan Hines mixes be used in the microwave?

I put mine in a ziploc bag and freeze them. I then warm them in the microwave, I am a muffin addict and have not found a better way to keep the left overs.

Thank you for the tip. I'm baking some more muffins so I will give this a try. They usually don't last too long anyway around my house, especially when my stepsons are with us.

Hi all! Does anyone have any good recipes using up a bumper crop of blackberries? Any help would be greatly appreciated, only so much jam that is useful!!

I can't find anything on the internet about it - usually these don't last long in our house - maybe try those plastic containers that you can get at the bakery which they store theirs in.....so sorry wish I could help more.

Thank you. That's a good idea; I'll try that.
