Sugar Not Salt

Submitted by: Shannon with six

Recipe Description
I let my 6 year old daughter measure my ingredients because we had a couple of things on the go. Big mistake she put in 1 1/2 cups salt instead of sugar. We buy both in bulk and they are both in the same containers with the same colored lid. Needless to say salt is pink lid and sugar is blue lid. Hard lesson. Keep your supplies marked somehow.

I did that when I first was learning to bake. To this day my brothers have not let me forget it.!!!! Now I bake for a living and I still double check. :)
