if I use 2 or 3 boxes of cake mixes does it mean i have to double or triple the amount of time it needs to cook?

when I make a sheet cake I mix up 2 boxes of Duncan Hines cake mix some brands will take 2 1/2 - 3 boxes.

I had a similar question so I made 1 box and baked it in my pan to see how much of the pan that it would fill. I think if it is 1/3 full baked then you should use 3 boxes, 1/2 full, then use 2 boxes. HTH
