Recipe Description
Using a flexible spatula, spread your frosting with light back and forth strokes. Try to avoid lifting your spatula so you don't pull the crust away from your cake.

I need help with frosting a cake so it looks pretty, you can always tell my cakes are home made by my icing

I used to have the same problem, i used a plastic protractor or ruler to smooth out the top and sides, don't apply too much pressure, you will take away too much frosting. Hope this helps!
